The 6th Harrow Scout Group will be attending the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee visit to the London Borough of Harrow on Thursday 29th March 2012.
All Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts will be given a specially segregated position away from the main public along the official route in Camrose Avenue, in front of the barriers along with other Youth Organisations from the Borough
For members to take part in this once-in-a-lifetime event, an official Harrow Council form must be filled in to take the day off School. This needs to be signed by the Headmaster and returned to your Section Leader.
All members taking part need to be at the location by 1pm, and will be there until 4.30om.
Parents wishing to stay can do so, but will have to stand behind the barriers, and space will be dependent on other members of the public.
Members taking part will have access to a private road with food and toilets during the event. Television pictures of the event will also be available here.
The position in front of the barrier will change during the event to allow as much inclusion as possible.
All young people attending the event MUST be in FULL UNIFORM with BLACK SHOES, with their Jubilee Badge in the correct position on their uniform.
