AGM 2016 – Cub Leader’s report

So here we are again and how time has flown by with us having yet another successful year.  Throughout the year Cub Pack has 30 members and 95% attendance ration week in week out.  So lets find out what we got up to……….

May 2015 – Family Camp @ Phasels Wood Campsite

13 Cubs took part in a weekend of fun packed activities.  They took part in Rifle Shooting, Zip Wire, Archery, Cresta Run, 3G Gyroscope, Climbing as well as enjoying the delicious BBQ on Saturday night and eating the marshmallows cooked on the camp fire.

November 2015 – Fireworks and Remembrance Day

Cubs joined with Beavers and Scouts along with family and friends to an excellent Saturday night with the fireworks and disco night as well as enjoying the BBQm Tombola, sweets store, archery and rifle shooting.

Sunday 8th November saw 8 Cubs take part in the Remembrance Day parade to honour and remember all those that have & are still fighting in the armed forces

December 2015 – Winter Camp @ PGL Liddington

Wow what a weekend this was, 14 Cubs joined 19 Scouts and 10 Leaders in a weekend packed with fun and activities.  Cubs took part in various activities such as Fencing, Quad Bike, Zip Wire, Aeroball, Verticle Challenge, 3G Swing as well as enjoying 7 hot meals, playing ing the arcades and Saturday cinema night with sweets and popcorn.

I am also proud to announce that Katie Cousins and Adam Schofield have both completed and achieved their Chief Scout’s Silver Award.  Well done!

Well done to all Cubs for achieving so much over the last year and having a great time.  There are more exciting times ahead in the New Year so HERE WE GO!
