Remembrance Day Parade – Sunday 13th November 2016

On 13 November 2016 the 6th Harrow Scout Group are invited to march with the Remembrance Day Parade and join in the Civic Service.

Scout Remembrance

We will be meeting at 9.30am outside Marks & Spencers, Havelock Place, Harrow. The parade actually marches from that area to the Civic Centre at 10.00am PROMPT. 6th Harrow will be laying a wreath during the service on behalf of the Borough. If parents/relatives/friends wish to walk alongside they are more than welcome, and may also join in the short ceremony when we arrive there.

Free parking will be available in the Service Yard in St Ann’s Greenhill Way and also at the Civic Centre in Car Park E.

I hope that there will be a good attendance from all sections on the day – Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts – because I believe that the parade, and service, is a fitting tribute to those that have given their lives in past conflicts. All young people that actually take part in the parade are required to wear FULL UNIFORM, also please make sure they have a few `layers’ of clothing underneath their uniform if it is a cold day.
