The 6th Harrow, originally known as the 1st Wealdstone, opened in 1911, and was also known as the 10th Harrow for a short while.  Having changed meeting locations and names for the last time, the Group finally settled as the 6th Harrow in 1955 and meets in a Headquarters built by parents, friends, and leaders of the Group, which was officially opened in 1961.

The Group wears a distinctive red and yellow scarf, the origin of which is said to lie in a joke that backfired.  If the legend is true, the red and yellow we are all familiar with is actually supposed to be a combination of scarlet and gold…

Now over 100 years old, the 6th Harrow is as strong as it has ever been, with all 3 sections regularly taking part in fun, creative, adventurous, and often unique, activities.
